The way their home was laid out, one had to pass diagonally through the dining room to get to the kitchen.  The inheritance of a very large family made dining room table dictated the need to change the circulation pattern.  The clients took advantage of this need to also remodel the kitchen to work for their lives better. The remodel was restricted to using the existing exterior windows & connection from the kitchen to the laundry.
